Jerry and Marcia File founded The Good Life Team in 2003. Previously they operated an international shipping business based in Chicago. After 21 years in world transportation, Phoenix beckoned. They are one of the Top Sales Teams in our Adult Communities. Jerry and Marcia live in Sun City. They have earned the Lifetime Presidents Round Table Award, RE/MAX 100% Club, Platinum Club and Chairman’s Club due to their large volume of sales. They hold the CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) designation.

George Ralston, Jr. joined the team in April 2005. Prior to this George was a marketing executive with AT&T, Lucent and Avaya in New Jersey for 22 years before an early retirement. George & family then moved to Kansas City and lived there for 4 years before coming to Arizona. George and his wife, Susie, live in Corte Bella and their daughter, Liz, attends Law School. George won the RE/MAX 100K award for his sales success in 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008. Top team awards followed in 2009, 2010 with Long Realty.

Jerry Overgaard joined the team in October 2008. Jerry and his wife, Carol, were born and raised in Nebraska. They have spent most of their married life in Denver. They vacationed in Arizona for over 35 years before finally making a decision to purchase a home in Corte Bella. Jerry began his career with IBM Corporation. He left IBM to become a Real Estate Broker in Denver for 13 years. In 1983 Jerry entered the securities industries in an investment management business where he was a sales and marketing executive for 21 years before retiring from Dreyfus Corporation in 2004. Jerry specialized in private placement investments for the past 4 years before he joined The Good Life Team.

Ron Rucshner joined the team in April 2009. Ron and his wife, Vickie, moved to Arizona from Washington state and are full time residents in Corte Bella. Ron founded and ran a furniture and cabinet distributorship for 18 years. After selling the furniture distributorship Ron and Vickie worked together as residential and commercial loan consultants. Ron’s knowledge and expertise in the ever changing mortgage industry is a valuable asset to our team and our customers.

Bob and Deb File are the newest members of the Life is Good in Arizona Team moving here from North Carolina in May of 2010. Bob spent 30 years working in telecommunications and advertising with GTE and Verizon. Deb’s experience in home staging will be of great benefit to our clients. Bob and Deb have two daughters and are expecting their first grandchild in August of 2010.
